On October 26-29, 2017, the exhibition and evaluation activities of the 8th National Youth Science Imaging Festival were successfully held in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. This competition received a total of 2211 submitted works from across the country, and after provincial selection, 2098 works entered the national selection stage. After preliminary evaluation by experts, 109 works were shortlisted and participated in exhibition evaluation activities. The book "Nine Dead Resurrection" stands out among many works and represented Anhui Province in the exhibition and evaluation activities.

This exhibition evaluation activity has selected 42 first prizes, 64 second prizes, 1460 third prizes, and 19 best single item awards in the "Science Kaleidoscope". The film "Nine Dead Resurrection" won the first prize and the "Scientific Kaleidoscope" Best Creativity Award in this exhibition and evaluation activity. The other three works coached by our school, "Returning Home on Day One", "A Wonderful Flower in the Plant Industry - Pitcher Plant", and "Gift from the Jurassic", all won the third prize in this film festival competition.



The National Youth Science Imaging Festival is organized and organized by the Youth Science and Technology Center of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, the China Youth Science and Technology Counselors Association, and other organizations. It is an exploratory science popularization activity that integrates knowledge, science, and fun for young people. It is an important form of encouraging young people to explore the scientific world, experience media technology, and showcase practical achievements.

This year's exhibition evaluation activities include registration, exhibition setup, skill testing, red carpet show, opening ceremony, closed debate, public display, closing ceremony and award ceremony.

 Although this event has come to an end, the pursuit of science will not stop. It is reported that the exhibition and evaluation activities of the 9th National Youth Science Imaging Festival will be held in Hunan Province in 2018. Looking forward to these young people who love science continuing to compete together on the stage of the Image Festival next year, learning from each other, and sharing the joy and gains of exploring science.
