On July 20-26, 2019, the 34th National Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition, jointly organized by nine ministries including the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region, was successfully held at the Venetian Golden Light Convention and Exhibition Center in Macau.

After two days of intense arrangements, the 34th National Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition finally kicked off at the University of Macau on the morning of July 22nd. More than 1500 people, including 35 representative teams from 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across the country, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan regions, as well as international representatives from over 50 countries and regions such as Asia, Europe, Africa, North America, and South America, as well as leaders, experts, and media, attended the opening ceremony.

Jiang Xinlin's scientific and technological invention project "Intelligent Reminder and Blockage Prevention Accessory Device for Road Harvesting Wells" has been selected for the district, city, provincial, and national competitions, and has been promoted to the national competition site (the only project in Anhui Province's primary school group to enter the national competition site). Finally, it won the second prize of the Youth Science and Technology Innovation Project!

The predecessor of the National Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition was the first national youth science and technology competition organized by the Chinese Association for Science and Technology in 1979. Over the past 30 years, with the joint efforts of various parties, the competition has become the largest youth science and technology competition in Asia with the largest number of participating countries, providing solid support for the cultivation of technology reserve talents, and building a broad stage for the national youth to experience the beauty of science and innovation.
