On the afternoon of April 26, 2018, at 2:30 pm, a special lecture on exploring scientific imaging works was held in the multimedia conference room of Qilitang Primary School in Xinzhan District.



In this event, Teacher Wang Yuhan, the founder of Liwen Youth Science Education, was invited by the education department of Xinzhan District to give a special lecture on youth science imaging works to the science and technology counselors in the district. Before the lecture, the organizer and Teacher Wang discussed and exchanged ideas on the development of youth science popularization and technological innovation in the new station area this year.


In a moment, information technology teachers and teachers interested in science from various schools on the new station continued to enter the conference room. In order to achieve good communication results, only some professional teachers were invited to participate in this event.





      





Before the lecture, Teacher Wang began by exploring his own science education for teenagers. He explained that the original intention of Liwen's establishment was for his daughter who loves science, and the motivation to persevere came from a group of children who love science.


Since the launch of the National Image Festival Competition, Li Wen Science Education has actively invested in frontline practice. 27 scientific micro film works that tutored children have won first and second prizes at the national level, and students have represented Anhui Province at the national award ceremony. Multiple works have won on-site skill testing awards (the only award in the primary school group), technology star awards, best creativity awards, scientific principle one click through awards, and best director awards, Gradually growing into a professional training institution for youth science education in Hefei.

 

 

Subsequently, Teacher Wang and the teachers began to interact, asking each teacher to raise their concerns about scientific imaging works. Faced with the high-quality questions raised by the teachers, Teacher Wang expressed great pleasure that the teachers on the new website are so excellent, and each question is very relevant to today's key points. Based on the teachers' questions, Teacher Wang began to explain one by one, from topic selection to filming, and then to video editing finished products, without the need for deep and simple language expression. When discussing some areas that need attention, Teacher Wang also listed his own personal experiences and told the teachers how to avoid tedious and inefficient work. By using the detours I have taken and sharing my summary and experience with the teachers without reservation, I have received unanimous recognition from the teachers.













During the explanation process, Teacher Wang continuously communicated with the teachers, answering questions and resolving doubts. The originally scheduled one and a half hour lecture continued uninterrupted for two and a half hours with the enthusiastic participation of the teachers.





After the lecture, the organizer was deeply moved by Teacher Wang's meticulous and patient explanation and the difficulty in science popularization work. We hope that the young people on the new website can achieve greater breakthroughs in science popularization and technological innovation! Teacher Wang said that Li Wen has come to this day with the companionship, help, and encouragement of experts and many others. We hope to work hand in hand with the technology counselors on the new website to lead more children into the world of youth science microfilms!
