In order to deeply implement the relevant spirit of the reform of the national examination and enrollment system, and in combination with the actual situation of the school, our school continued to independently recruit outstanding students with disciplinary expertise and innovative potential for some basic disciplines (including some top student training pilot programs) in 2018.

1、Registration conditions

Students who meet the requirements for enrollment in 2018 ordinary universities in their province of origin (autonomous region, municipality directly under the central government), have firm ideals and beliefs, good conduct, compliance with laws and regulations, honesty and trustworthiness, physical and mental health, excellent grades in related subjects, and have distinct disciplinary strengths and certain innovative potential in one of the 10 fields including literature, history, philosophy, traditional Chinese medicine, ideological and political education, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and computer science can apply.

2、Registration and Recommendation

Willing students who meet the registration requirements must log in to the "Pilot University Autonomous Enrollment Registration System" before 10:00 am on March 22, 2018 and 16:00 pm on March 31, 2018（ http://gaokao.chsi.com.cn/zzbm/ ）Register online on your own.

When registering, students majoring in literature and history can and can only choose one major from five colleges, including the School of Literature, the School of History, the School of Philosophy, the School of Chinese Studies, and the School of Marxism. Students majoring in science and engineering can and can only choose one major from six colleges, including the School of Mathematics and Statistics, the School of Physical Science and Technology, the School of Chemistry and Molecular Science, the School of Life Sciences, the School of Computer Science, and the School of National Cybersecurity; Candidates from Shanghai and Zhejiang provinces can and can only apply for one major from the above-mentioned colleges based on their selected subjects for the college entrance examination and the requirements of our school's subjects (see Annex 1 for the admission majors and subject requirements of each college).

Students are required to upload electronic scanned copies of the following application materials to the registration system before the registration deadline:

1. Application Form for Autonomous Enrollment of Pilot Universities (After successful online application, it will be printed by the system and signed by the individual, and reviewed and stamped by the middle school).
2. The study status and grades of various courses in high school, academic level exam scores, comprehensive quality evaluation files (including growth records, typical factual materials, and relevant certificates that record students' outstanding performance in ideological and moral character, academic level, physical and mental health, artistic literacy, and social practice), and other realistic materials that reflect students' growth and development.
3. Materials that represent students' disciplinary strengths and innovative potential, including but not limited to various certificates, works, or academic achievements (including covers, catalogs, and all achievement pages) obtained from competitions related to various disciplines during high school, as well as recommended materials (real name recommendations from high school, relevant social organizations, or experts in related fields). If the material contains publicly published academic papers, both the Word version of the paper and the electronic scanned copy of the journal paper page must be uploaded to the registration system.
The above materials must be true, detailed, accurate, and clear, and must be stamped with the official seal of the attending high school.
Except for publishing original books, our school does not accept other paper registration application materials. The original published book (indicating the student's name, registration number, and major) should be sent (delivered) to the Admissions Office of Wuhan University (No. 299 Bayi Road, Wuchang District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, 430072) before April 4, 2018 (based on the postmark on the date of receipt). All registration materials are non refundable. If the registration is not completed as required or the application materials do not meet the requirements, the registration will be invalid.

The middle school (unit) or former graduating high school, relevant social organizations, or experts in related fields can provide recommendation materials in real name to our school as a reference for qualification review. The recommendation program is as follows: After students fill in the recommendation information in the registration system, the registration system sends an email to the recommender or the head of the recommendation organization. The recommender or the head of the recommendation organization downloads the recommendation letter template according to the requirements in the email, completes the handwritten form, scans and uploads it to the registration system. The recommendation must be personally completed by the recommender or the person in charge of the recommendation organization. When filling out the recommendation letter, it must strictly follow the template content, comprehensively and specifically showcase the recommended students' subject strengths and innovation potential. Organizational recommendations must be collectively studied and publicized in advance according to the procedures, and stamped with the official seal of the organization. Each recommendation letter can only recommend one student, and the recommender (organization) is responsible for the authenticity of the recommendation materials provided.

3、Qualification review

The school branch establishes a qualification review expert group mainly composed of experts and professors, and formulates an audit plan. Based on the application materials provided by the registered candidates, the assessment qualifications of students are collectively reviewed. Based on the students' disciplinary strengths, innovative potential, and their comprehensive performance in ideological and moral character, academic level, physical and mental health, artistic literacy, social practice, etc., the list of qualified students for qualification review is determined by selecting the best. Our school will verify the authenticity and originality of the supporting materials (such as award certificates, papers, publications, literary works, invention patents, etc.) that reflect the subject's expertise and innovation potential in the candidate's application materials when necessary. We will also conduct plagiarism and quality evaluation of publicly published papers, and conduct in-depth verification and targeted assessment in the assessment process.

Our school will complete the qualification review before the end of April 2018 and publish the list of qualified students (including those who are exempt from the written exam) on the Wuhan University Undergraduate Enrollment Network and the Ministry of Education's Sunshine College Entrance Examination Platform. Those who have no objections will be eligible to participate in our school's 2018 independent enrollment assessment.

4、examine

Our school's independent enrollment assessment is divided into two stages: written and interview, with a focus on assessing students' disciplinary abilities and innovative potential in the field of application, including basic knowledge of the subject, problem-solving ability, higher-order thinking ability (including logical reasoning ability, critical thinking ability, divergent thinking ability, innovative thinking ability, etc.), hands-on practice ability, imagination ability, language expression ability, etc.

The written test will be conducted in the form of a remote machine test on June 10th. The subjects of the written test will be "Mathematics and Logic" and "Reading and Analysis", with a total duration of 3 hours. The school will select the best students to participate in the interview based on the written test results and a certain proportion of the enrollment plan for each major. The list will be announced on the undergraduate enrollment website of Wuhan University; The interview will take place on June 17th, within the campus of Wuhan University, in a separate college. The specific assessment plan and related requirements will be released separately before the assessment.
Students who participate in the Chinese Mathematical Olympiad, National High School Physics Competition (Final), National High School Chemistry Olympiad (Final), National High School Biology Competition (Final), and National Youth Informatics Olympiad during their high school years and receive third prize or higher awards may be exempt from participating in the written exam for independent enrollment assessment and directly obtain interview qualifications. Students who pass the qualification review and those who have obtained interview qualifications must pay the examination fee through online banking according to the requirements in the corresponding announcement (collected according to the Hubei Provincial Price Bureau's Ejianfei [2009] No. 331 document) and print the corresponding admission ticket.
Students must present their original second-generation ID card, admission ticket (printed after payment), relevant certificates or original works, and participate in the assessment according to the requirements on the admission ticket.

5、Admission method

1. The number of independent admissions shall not exceed 5% of the total undergraduate enrollment plan of the school in 2018 (see Annex 1 for the sub major plan).

2. The school adheres to the principle of selecting the best and choosing the best, and based on the enrollment plan (see Annex 1) and interview results, determines the list of eligible candidates for independent enrollment by major (among which the number of eligible candidates for Hongyi School's Chinese Studies Class and Ideological and Political Education major is determined by twice the enrollment plan; the number of eligible candidates for other majors is determined by 1:1.2 of the enrollment plan). The list will be published on the undergraduate enrollment website of Wuhan University before June 22, 2018 Provincial enrollment and examination institutions and the Ministry of Education's Sunshine College Entrance Examination Platform are publicly announced.
3. Students who have obtained the qualification for independent enrollment at our school, if they fill in their voluntary enrollment according to the relevant regulations of the enrollment and examination institutions in their province (autonomous region, municipality directly under the central government, the same below), And the admission score reaches a certain score above the batch control line (referred to as the "batch line" or the "minimum admission control reference score line" in Shanghai and Zhejiang provinces) in the province where the student is sourced (The score for science and engineering is equal to 80% of the difference between the lowest admission score for the same subject in our school's province of origin in 2017 and the first tier admission score in that province, while the score for literature and history is equal to 70% of the difference between the lowest admission score for the same subject in our school's province of origin in 2017 and the first tier admission score in that province, rounded to the nearest whole number. The score for Shanghai and Zhejiang candidates who have implemented comprehensive reforms in the college entrance examination is uniformly determined to be 40 points. The scores for each province are detailed in Annex 2.), At the same time, if other admission conditions stipulated by the state are met (such as the requirements for physical health in relevant majors, and the requirements for selected subjects for Shanghai and Zhejiang candidates by our school), our school will be admitted to the majors for independent enrollment assessment. For individual outstanding students who meet the conditions specified in the "Wuhan University Independent Enrollment Discipline Specialty Innovation Potential Outstanding Student Selection Method" (click to view) and are selected and determined according to their procedures, their college entrance examination score requirements can be reduced to a maximum of 20 points below the provincial first tier (Shanghai and Zhejiang are the minimum admission control reference scores for independent enrollment), and the specific scores will be implemented according to the public announcement. For provinces that merge undergraduate batches, our school's admission batch control line shall be implemented according to the corresponding minimum admission control score line for independent enrollment determined by the relevant provincial education administrative department or admission examination institution.
4. Individual outstanding students admitted to disciplines such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and computer science can enter the Hongyi School of the school after selection if they apply and are recommended by their college (but cannot change their subject of study).

6、For instructions

When applying for qualification review, students from central and western regions and rural areas will be given priority under the same conditions.

2. Students admitted through independent enrollment are not allowed to transfer out of the college to which they are admitted.
3. If a candidate is found to have engaged in disciplinary violations, cheating, or other dishonest behaviors such as falsification of application materials, it will be deemed as cheating in the national education examination. According to relevant regulations of the country and the school, their independent enrollment qualification, college entrance examination qualification, examination results, admission qualifications, admission qualifications, etc. will be cancelled according to the verified time. Those who have already obtained student status will be disqualified and reported to the provincial enrollment examination institution or education administrative department of the source for further processing, Vacancies are not filled in increments.

7、Management and supervision mechanism

The school has never entrusted individuals or intermediary organizations to carry out recruitment work related to special types of exams, nor has it held any form of tutoring classes. The school has established and improved its independent enrollment management and supervision mechanism, established a "three randomness" mechanism where candidates are randomly admitted, examiners are randomly selected, and exam questions are randomly selected. The entire assessment process is recorded, and the list of qualified students in the preliminary examination and the list of eligible students for admission are determined by the school's enrollment leadership group through collective discussion and public announcement. After no objections are raised, they are reported to the Sunshine College Entrance Examination Platform of the Ministry of Education and provincial enrollment and examination institutions, and information is disclosed at three levels, The school supervision department participates in and supervises independent enrollment throughout the entire process, resolutely eliminating negative behaviors such as covert operations, favoritism and fraud, and power rent-seeking.
