The 2018 independent enrollment registration is nearing its end, and the subject competition website (Jingsai985) has compiled and organized the explicitly recognized competition activities of 90 universities based on the latest independent enrollment registration requirements for 2018. In fact, last year, in addition to the highly anticipated five discipline competitions in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and information organized by the six major societies under the China Association for Science and Technology, there were also 47 competitions designated and recognized by some universities. However, this year only five university science competitions, six major science and innovation competitions, and one major humanities competition have been explicitly recognized for independent enrollment. The following is a summary of all competitions on the subject competition website. Teachers from various high schools and parents of high school freshmen and sophomores can pay attention to collecting them, as they are one of the few stepping stones for independent enrollment!

1. The English Proficiency Competition for Middle School Students (organized by the Foreign Language Education Research Center of the National Basic Education Experimental Center and organized by the English tutoring newspaper) is the only award for liberal arts students and only recognized by a university in Beijing Forestry University.
2. China Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition (jointly organized by the China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the State Environmental Protection Administration, the General Administration of Sport, the Natural Science Foundation Committee, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, and the All China Women's Federation). A total of 89 universities have explicitly recognized the conditions for independent enrollment and registration. Becoming one of the heavyweight events second only to disciplinary competitions.
3. Tomorrow Little Scientist (co sponsored by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, and the Zhou Kaixuan Foundation). A total of 89 universities have explicitly recognized the conditions for independent enrollment and registration. Becoming one of the heavyweight events second only to disciplinary competitions.
4. National Computer Production Activity for Primary and Secondary Schools (jointly organized by the Central Audiovisual Education Museum and China Mobile Communications Corporation). A total of 64 universities have explicitly recognized the conditions for independent enrollment and registration.
5. China Youth Robot Competition (organized by the Youth Department of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, Huo Yingdong Foundation, and the Children's Center of the All China Women's Federation). A total of 8 universities have explicitly recognized it.
6. International Science and Engineering (sponsored by the Science Service Society), with a total of 12 universities recognized for independent enrollment.
7. The international environmental research project (sponsored by Türkiye Time Education Association) has been explicitly recognized by 14 universities.
Special reminder: In 2018, the recognition of science and innovation competitions by various universities continued to increase, while humanities competitions suffered significant trauma. Science and innovation competition awards have become the second largest force to pass the initial review of self recruitment, except for the five subject competitions.
