Frontline teachers of Li Wen Science Popularization and Innovation Studio participate in a series of activities to send science popularization into the community

On December 10, 2021, Sun Xiaoling, a frontline science and technology counselor at the Liwen Science Popularization and Innovation Studio (an excellent mentor at the National Science Imaging Festival), participated in a science popularization community experience magical science experiment jointly organized by the Dongqi Community Party Committee, the Provincial Science and Technology Association Office Party Branch, the Provincial Youth Activity Center Party Branch, the District Party Committee Propaganda Department, and the Huachong Branch of Heping Primary School, We brought a fun and joyful science experiment course for children - a hand powered generator.

In class, Teacher Sun asked the students to observe the internal structure of the hand generator. Why can a small light bulb still light up without a battery in the hand generator? The students, with a strong curiosity, actively engage in interactive communication with the teacher and express their guesses.

From understanding electricity to using it, from the principle of current to electromagnetic induction phenomena, Teacher Sun gradually unraveled the principle of manual generator power generation with his classmates, and then led them from theory to practice. By personally making manual generator equipment, students better understood the principles behind it.

Hands-on production, serious research, and joint exploration
